This Grey & Gold FE35 Tractor came to us from one of our customers in Hereford just after Christmas, it was in a very poor condition having been standing in a barn for many years, there was none or very little oil in the backend which allowed rust to form all over all the shafts etc, all the hydraulic system was also rusted and seized up, a lot of work was required, and cleaning of the parts has now been undertaken as well as grit blasting the entire tractor in bits which seemed the best way to get everything down to bare metal, all the parts have been primed in zinc phosphate primer, the unit is now back together, the engine has been assembled with new pistons, liners and crankshaft bearings, this coming week we plan to mate the engine a gearbox together, all should be ready for a fire up as soon as the fuel pump and injectors have been returned to us from the diesel injection specialist, more to come over the next few weeks..
